Pen / Paper RPG	Hey folks, Wanted to drop in for a first hand update on the site AND some good news about our Universal Role Playing System. I'm sure you all have noticed that the downloads page is... well... down. The reason for this, is that, RPGX is currently building a small library of 1st party downloads before offering any 3rd party material. What that translates into is: Expect to see allot of Pen & Paper related material from RPGX studios in the near future. The first download to become available will be a demo module of the new RPGX CORE-system. The module will not be a complete work, but will have enough information and material to get players started learning the mechanics of the RPGX system. The module will take a player and GM alike through the step by step process of making a character and the basics of using their abilities. The module will be 100% free. The module will be a printable PDF file complete with color artwork and a printable single encounter RPGX mini-map.

The Alpha rules have been penned! I am now typing up the first draft of the demo rules that will be seein in the downloads section after some short rounds of play testing tomorrow. There will be some openings for helpers to help flesh out the RPGX System. More details tomorrow.

Tweaks are being made and we will have another go around of the basic rules. Things look very bright as the system it-self WORKS. The main concerns have been simplifacation issues which are being worked out. Demo basic rules will be made availble within the next few months. On another note, the "RPGX Live" Game Group program is almost ready for public. It may actually beat the RPGX system to the downloads board. We will be having a closed online Beta taking place within the month. And an Open beta happening a little later. Stay tuned for more information on that. Edited by x8xid, Jan 6 2009, 12:58 PM.
