Owner / Clan Master Posts: 3,532 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: May 9, 2008 What is your favorite type of game? Pen / Paper RPG	So your sitting at home playing your videogames in the dark. You have your headset on, but nobody to talk to. It's a sad story, but a common one. The gamer without a clan. Well, if you rewind about 8 months, some of you might remember a side project taht was going on here at RPGX and gDNA called Digital Darkness. It was the bastard site of RPGX and a pretty spiffy clan site to say the least. While we didn't particularly like gDNA, it was a good website for social networking outside our typical group of Pen/Paper style RPG'ers. Well if anyone is feeling the need for some team ass-kicking, or even just a little nistalgic for being a part of the old clan, I have great news. As of yesterday the clan has come back, and even better, it's right here on RPGX. Formerly "Digital Darkness" the clan has been renamed simply RPGx (That's with a little x as in "Rx for ass whoopin' ".) Everything is as it was, new name and new site - still loads of fun. As of about 7:00pm CST last night I started the process of recruiting members. I started with the old and I'm working my way up to the new. A good friend (and an asset to the L4D series) is Burnedwing has already signed up and I look forward to wathing him quickly climb our ranks (yep he's that good.) I can't wait to see who else takes us up on the offer to rejoin. Some neat new perks to hosting the clan site locally include the addition of STATIC clan servers. At the moment we have three configured for play and they will go live this week. The RPGx Teamspeak server will go live again tonoght and will be followed by the Unreal2k4, BF2, and CoD4 servers. Joining the clan is as easy as pie. First you must be a member of the RPGX boards. (If your reading this than you have probably already finished the first step.) After that, scroll down tot he clan section of the board (at the bottom) and click "Join the Clan" After that it's a simple matter of signing up for the subgroup and showing up for your "Trial by Fire." To say the least I'm excited. Tonight I'm going to Pwn some zombies in L4D, tomorrow who knows. But, whatever it is it will be side by side with the awesome team members of the RPGx Multi-Game Clan.
